Kayla and Jess are so in love. You can see it when he looks at her. You can see it when she looks at him. Both Kayla and Jess have mutual loves, vintage. So much so, that they planned their entire wedding totally in a vintage style. Jess has a home that he is restoring called The Pryor Place, just outside of Calhoun City, MS. It is like stepping back in time when things just seemed to be a little slower, simple, uncomplicated and peaceful. The day of their wedding was forcast for rain. So everyone was praying the weather would hold till after the wedding, because the reception was to be held outside at The Pryor Place. When we arrived everything was abuzz with preparations. It was all going smoothly. I’ve never seen such a relaxed bride and groom!
All the elements of their day had special meaning to Kayl and Jess.
Kayla got ready in the main bedroom of the home. It still had the original wallpaper and the vintage furniture is in perfect condition! Kayla was beautiful in her soon to be mother in laws wedding dress. Her bridal bouquet was made of old and new brooches. Just yummy!
Kayla and Jess elected to see each other before the wedding, which is my personal favorite. This way, they had plenty time to get all the photos we needed. They make such a stunning couple!
Don’t you just love the old car in the background! This is what Kayla and Jess rode in to the wedding and back to the reception. Styling!
New and old quilts, family wedding pictures, vintage tractors and old out buildings restored. Such a sence of love and love of family.
Everyone all came out on the porch for a huge group shot!
Inside the parlor!
Making sure everyone made it to the church!
My fav: the kiss!
Now, back to the house for an old fashioned reception:
By the way, just about the time we were leaving the reception, it started raining! Thank you Lord!
