I love Rowan Oak, & I love Oxford, MS. So, when McCoy said she’d like to meet there for her and Jake’s engagement session, I was all in! Of course, I’d have been “all in” no matter where we met! I’ve been taking McCoy and her family’s photos for quite a few years now, not to mention the fact that McCoy’s mom, Shannon has been doing our family’s hair for almost 20 years! They’re more than clients, I call them friends. They are very special to me!
To say we had fun would be an understatement! Jake is a great guy and McCoy and I had fun teasing him, although before we were finished, Jake and I were teasing McCoy! There were stories about the fabulous dress that everyone wants to know where McCoy purchased it….I’ll never tell; trampoline uh oh’s (Jake), and weird noises that I swear there’s a ghost there! (dog, squirrel, varmit, runner!) Sorry, only McCoy and Jake will understand.
Even though it was VERY chilly, McCoy and Jake were real troopers. McCoy huddled with Jake between shots to try to keep warm. Ya just never know what kind of weather we’re gonna have here in the south! I’m so excited for you to see just a glimpse into their engagement. Thanks so much, McCoy and Jake, for such a great time. I can’t wait till your wedding at Southwind in November!
