I met with Carley and Hayden this week for their engagement session in downtown West Point, MS. Even though it was hot, we had so much fun! West Point has so much to offer when you’re taking pictures. There’s two arbors with wisteria completely covering them located in the park. We used one of those arbors as our background. I love the architectural design they made behind Carley and Hayden. In May, the grass is just starting to grow and green up, but we were lucky enough they hadn’t mowed yet and the clover was so pretty for playing guitar and generally just having a good time! There’s another park across the road with a walking track they made the perfect place for some sunset pictures (can you say “Golden Hour” photos”! To say I love this time of day is an understatement. Everything looks so much better at this time. There are no more shadows to fight with and no one is squinting. Ha!
Carley and Hayden were so awesome with the way they reacted to one another. It’s always good when your clients are having a good time. They look relaxed, in love and are generally easy to get great photos. I can’t wait for their wedding in August at Blue August in Baldwyn, MS. Stay tuned!
