A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to photograph Blair and Jake’s wedding.  Yes, it was hot, but it was a really good day!  The wedding took place at the home of Blair’s parents in Houlka, MS.  They have a beautiful home, with a huge front yard and a magnolia tree that looked like it had been there since the flood!  A lot of planning and preparation went into this day and I might say that it turned out extremely nice.  Just what every little girl dreams her wedding day will be like!

Just so know one thinks I’ve forgotten my blog, here is a look at Kelsey and Joe’s wedding.  The wedding was in West Point, MS.  I couldn’t believe our luck.  The wisteria was in full bloom at a nearby park!  Can you say “Gorgeous”!  I had a great time.  Thanks, Kelsey and Joe!

What a View!

This is what I was treated to while driving home from the hospital.  The Lord knew I needed a little encouragement today.  I am so thankful for His faithfulness.

I thought I would show everyone a little bit of New Smyrna Beach.  It is a beautiful place for a vacation!  The beach is of course gorgeous, but the town is something to see also.

We wondered down some of the old part of town.  I love old typewriters.  They have so much character.

Cool little antique shop.

The view from the bottom of a palm tree.  The graphic design intrigued me.

The palm trees were the prettiest I’ve ever seen.  I know, I know, I live in Mississippi.  There isn’t a whole lot of palm trees around!

Straight ahead is the Atlantic Ocean.  We are going to leave tomorrow.  I hope I can get in some more pics of my bunch before we leave.  Then we are headed to Atlanta, Georgia to take in a Braves game.  Speaking of the Braves, I hear the game beginning on the TV right now.  Gotta go!  Go Braves!!!

Another day in paradise!

Jessica loves  her daddy!

Flynt, doing the shimmy shimmy coco pop!

We are in New Smyrna Beach, FL having a blast! I thought I would show some shots I took while we were driving on interstate 95. We saw this dog, hanging out and barking in the wind, coming up from behind.
We let them get up close so that I could get some cute shots and boy were they cute!

My favorite of them all!

Happy Tuesday!

I am proud to announce that on March 8, 2010, Tucker Flynt Sharp made his way into the world.  He was greeted by so many loving family members.  It’s gonna be so much fun to watch him grow up.  He looks so much like Adam did when he was a baby.  Everyone loves all that hair.  He’s such a cutie-pie!  Oh, by the way…….I am his BB!  And I love him very much!

Hey Guys,

It’s time for another great and awesome high school senior!  Today it’s Katie’s turn.  Even though I thought at times the wind would just blow Katie over, we had a great senior session.  Katie is pretty and fun….what more could you ask for?  Thanks a bunch, Katie, I had a blast!

Today I would like to introduce Macie, one of my fabulous High School Seniors.  I can’t tell you how much fun we had going to some of my favorite places.  Macie has this firey red hair that just shines.  I loved it.  Macie made my job a breeze. She was so easy to work with.  We’ve had so many dreary days when we couldn’t have a great shoot.  So I was ecstatic when the sun came out to greet us and smile on Macie’s day!  Macie….you rock!

This past January, (I know, I’m always behind on blogging.  Will try to do better), Flynt and myself went to Imaging USA in Nashville, TN.  It was a great trip for us.  We got to spend some much needed alone time, and I felt like a kid in a candy store at the expo.  If you’re into photography, this was the place for you.  Anything, and I mean anything that has to do with photography….it was there.  You can imaging how excited I was.  I don’t think my feet actually touched the floor, I just floated from booth to booth.   I was in “information overload” most of the time.  There was just so much to look at and touch.  The guys at the booths probably thought I was a crazy woman because I had so many questions for them.  I made them earn their pay!  We brought all kinds of goodies back home with us. Next year it will be held in San Antonio, TX.  Hope to make that trip!

This is the view we were treated to when we got to Nashville.  Beautiful!

By the way, did I mention this was held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center!  If I even try to describe this place, I will in no way do it justice.  The only thing I can say is if you ever get the chance to go, by all means, GO!  Flynt and I had so much fun just walking around looking at everything inside.  It was just wonderful.

This is Flynt coming and going.  The bag he is carrying is from Miller’s, the best place ever for a photographer.  That little bag was full of fun stuff.

We felt so much like the “tourist” that we were!  All posing for pics and all.  This place was just to pretty to pass up.

We came across Stephanie Rhea Barcia whom we had not seen in a long time.  It was good catching up for a while.

Me with David Ziser!

This is Kevin Kubota!

Me with Kevin Kubota!  I was in heaven.  Can you tell?

This is Kecia, Kevin’s sister!  She was extremely nice and informative.  Thanks, Kecia!

Did I mention how beautiful the Gaylord is?  This was all inside under one roof.  It was a nice 74 degrees inside while it was below freezing outside.  Can you say “cool” or what?
